Ben Finkelor serves as Executive Director for EEI, where he's worked since it was founded in 2006 as the Energy Efficiency Center. During 2022 and 2023, he spent 16 months on-loan to the CA Energy Commission, serving as Chief of Staff for Vice Chair Siva Gunda. Ben earned an MBA from UC Davis, a Corporate Environmental Management certificate from UC Santa Barbara, and a BA from UC San Diego. When offline, he enjoys time with family, backpacking, kayaking, and playing/ coaching ultimate frisbee.
