His primary focus is electrification and decarbonization solutions that respect the holistic nature and relationship of the building and its occupants, which have included heat pumps (all kinds), hydronics, radiant delivery, water heating, energy storage, and more. He leads field and lab projects conducted out of Frontier Energy's Building Science Research Laboratory in Davis, CA and the Central Valley Research Homes.
