Mary E. Koban is a New Product Development Agile Manager at The Chemours Company. She has 25 years of innovation experience in the chemical industry, with 15 of those in HVAC. She was involved with automotive transition from HFC-134a to low-GWP 2L refrigerant HFO-1234yf. Koban is on industry standards, including SAE, IEC, ISO, and ASHRAE. She is the convenor of IEC 60335-2-104 and ISO 817. She has an MSCE in environmental engineering from Ohio University and a BS in physics/math from Penn State.
