Rajinder Sahota directs the California Air Resources Board’s scientific, technical, and policy teams in updating the AB 32 Climate Change Scoping Plan to develop the pathways to achieve the state’s climate targets. In Sahota’s 19-year career with CARB, she has worked on projects such as analyzing data for children’s health studies and evaluating strategies to reduce harmful diesel pollution from locomotives. Sahota served as an inaugural co-chair of the Diversity and Racial Equity (DaRE) Task Force.
